Can you believe it?

It snowed!!! I totally didn't think it would snow, even though the weathermen have been calling for it. We went to church and I looked out and it was snowing! The pictures were taken right after we got home, but we actually ended up with even more snow. I am quite enjoying my day off from school. I know I'll hate making it up down the road, but it was a much needed day today.

And, I LOVE IT!!! We've had so much fun playing the games that came with it. I do have a wonderful friend, who brought me a few of her games to try and I decided that I definitely need Mario Kart! :) I'm anxiously awaiting the day when I save enough money to get the Fit, as well.

Scanning photos

Chris and I recently bought a 4 in 1 printer, which of course includes a scanner. I've had some fun scanning old photos. I'm a little discouraged at the moment. I scanned this photo of my mom and me to put on my Relay For Life page and I can't make it small enough to put on the actual page.

Most of you probably saw on facebook some of the pictures that I scanned. Don't worry, I have MORE coming... here's a fun one that I found today. Where we used to tailgate (when we used to tailgate) there was a HUGE tree... and one tailgate we thought it would be fun to climb it!

Random thought

So, when I was little my mom always listed to Fox97, which back in the day was oldies. And of course, was the music she listened to in high school and college. And, as I got older (and it seemed so "not cool") I always thought to myself that I'm going to listen to cool stuff when I'm a mom. Even though I'm not a mom... I've been reflecting on my radio stations. I love my XM and the fact that I can listen to the 90s, which is what I listened to in high school and college! I guess I will be a dorky mom! Of course, I enjoy all music... oldies, country, 90s, current stuff, alternative, etc...

YAY me!

When I got home from school, I put my bike on the trainer (for those of you that don't know, a trainer is this piece of equipment that holds a regular bike in place and makes your bike stationary) and got on for 30 minutes... even though I was cold and just wanted to wrap up in a blanket!

Some things I've been doing...

First, I made this for my friend that just had a baby girl.

Yesterday, I made this cake for a friend at school. (yup, my second sold in a while)

Today, I made Red Velvet Cookies to take to school tomorrow for people to sample my tasty treats.


On another note, thanks for all the comments yesterday. I appreciate it. :) Also, does anyone have any suggestions on getting myself motivated to work out???
