Friday night, April 10, 2009 the Braves returned home for their Home Opener against the Washington Nationals. Festivities began with a tribute to long time broadcaster Pete Van Wieren, who retired at the end of last season. The National Anthem was sung by country singer Jason Aldean and was made complete by a fly by. Sigh... Baseball is back! :)Ever since Chris and I started dating we have attended numerous games each season, including either an exhibition game or the Home Opener (or one close behind it). WE LOVE THE BRAVES!
What fun! Going to the Braves game is always an adventure. I can't wait until our little man is a little older and we can take him. I think he will love the experience!
